Purchase Committee Meeting

Highlights of the 308th Purchase Commerce Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Wednesday, the 30th June, 2004 at GEB H.O., Sardar Patel Vidyut Bhavan, Race Course, Vadodara.

  1. The Minutes of the 307th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on .5th May, 2004 at GEB H.O. Baroda were confirmed.

  2. The Compliance Report in respect of action taken on the decisions of the 307th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on 5th May, 2004 at GEB H.O. Baroda was perused and approved.

  3. The Purchase Committee accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 3/308 dated 30.6.2004 to purchase of 2 Core x 2.5 mm2 PVC twin flat cable for the annual requirement of 2004-05 for Dist. Works, R.E. works from M/s. KC Power, M/s. Nisha Cable, M/s. Ravi, M/s. Sabar & M/s. Vinayak.

  4. The Purchase Committee considered the note and accorded its post facto approval for placement of LOI dated 24.5.04 for purchase of 11 KV G.I. Pins from M/s. Chitranjan Ind., M/s. Asbesco, M/s. Ceebuild, M/s. Jayshree Indus., M/s. SA Enterprise, M/s. S.K. Iron, SP Iron, M/s. Ruma Engr  and 22 KV G.I. Pins from M/s. Chitranjan Ind., M/s. Asbesco, M/s. Ceebuild, M/s. Jayshree Indus., M/s. SA Enterprise, M/s. S.K. Iron.

  5. The Purchase Committee perused the Note and after deliberation accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 5/308 dated 30.6.2004 for purchase of additional quantity of Cast iron Earthing Plates for JGY for the year 2004 considering the re-revised prices without CST/GST from M/s. Standard casting and M/s. Laxmi Foundary.

  6. The purchase Committee perused the note and accorded its approval for placement of order for the purchase of 132 KV SF6 Circuit Breaker from M/s. Siemens and M/s. ABB

The Meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
