Highlights of the 307^th Purchase Commerce Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Wednesday, the .5^th May, 2004 at GEB H.O., Sardar Patel Vidyut Bhavan, Race Course, Vadodara.

The following Members were present.

Shri PK Laheri, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat could not attend.

Smt. Sudha Anchalia,  Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Govt. of Gujarat could not attend.

Shri BJ Bhatt, Secretary to the Board was in attendance.

1. The Minutes of the 306^th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on 25^th March, 2004 at GEB VIP Guest House, Baroda.

2. The Compliance Report in respect of action taken on the decisions of the 306^th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on 25^th March, 2004 at GEB VIP Guest House, Baroda was perused and approved.

3. The Purchase Committee accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 1/307 dated 29.3.2004 approved the purchase of Servers, Computers, Peripherals, Networking Component and Software from M/s. HCL Infosystem Ltd., M/s. CMC Ltd., and M/s. Comp Consultancy Services.

4. The Purchase Committee perused the note and after deliberation and discussion accorded its post facto approval vide Resolution No. 4/307 dated 5.5.2004 for revocation of stop deal from M/s. Mahavir Rolling Mills, Ahmedabad.

5. The Purchase Committee approved vide Resolution No. 5/307 dated 5.5.2004 its post facto approval for the placement of order to M/s. Shah Alloys Ltd., Ahmedabad and M/s. Sanvijay Rolling & Engg. Ltd., Nagpur for the purchase of M.S. Beams – 150 x 150 mm x 13 Mtrs.

6. The Purchase Committee accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 6/307 dated 5.5.2004 for placement of repeat order for 9 KV lightning arresters on the recommended firm with the same price, terms and conditions of Main A.T. for "Jyoti Gram Yojna".

The Meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
