Highlights of the 306^th Purchase Commerce Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Thursday, the 25^th March, 2004 at GEB VIP Guest House, Gandhinagar TPS.

The following Members were present.

Shri PK Laheri, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat could not attend.

Smt. Sudha Anchalia,  Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Govt. of Gujarat attended the Meeting.

Shri BJ Bhatt, Secretary to the Board was in attendance.  

1. The Minutes of the 305^th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Friday, 13^th February, 2004 at GEB VIP Guest House, Baroda.

2. The Compliance Report in respect of action taken on the decisions of the 305^th Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Friday, 13^th February, 2004 at GEB VIP Guest House, Baroda was perused and approved.

3. The Purchase Committee accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 3/306 dated 25^th March, 2004 the purchase of 2600 KL of EHV grade transformer oil from (1) M/s. Suryodaya Blending Silvasa (2) M/s. Savita Chemical Ltd., Silvasa (3) M/s. Suryoday Blending Panoli (4) M/s. Taskent Oil, Baroda.

4. The Purchase Committee considered the note and accorded its approval vide Resolution No. 4/306 dated 25^th March, 2004 for the purchase of various sizes of MS Plates from (1)  M/s. SAIL, Baroda and (2) M/s. Shah Alloys Ltd., Ahmedabad.

5. The Purchase Committee approved vide Resolution No. 5/306 dated 25^th March, 2004 the procurement of one no. 250 MVA, 15.57/420 KV Generator Transformer for Wanakbori TPS from M/s. BHEL.

6. The Purchase Committee approved vide Resolution No. 6/306 dated 25^th March, 2004 the acceptance of tender for supply of 220 KV D/C Transmission Line towers including Bolts-Nuts and accessories for execution of various transmission lines on M/s. Urja Engineers Ltd., Baroda.
