Highlights of the 305th  Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on Friday the 13th February 2004 at Gujarat Electricity Board, VIP Guest House, Baroda.

The following Members were present:

Shri PK Laheri, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat and Smt. Sudha Anchalia, Principal Secretary,  Finance Department, Govt. of Gujarat could not attend.

Shri Guruprasad Mohapatra, Member, GEB could not attend.

Shri  KD Chandnani, Secretary to the Board was in attendance.  

1. The Minutes of the 304th  Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat Electricity Board held on 16th January 2004 at GEB, HO,  Sardar Patel Vidyut Bhavan, Race Course, Vadodara were confirmed.

2. The Compliance Report in respect of action taken on the decisions of the 304th  Purchase Committee Meeting of the Gujarat   Electricity Board held on 16th January 2004 at GEB, HO, Sardar Patel Vidyut Bhavan, Race Course, Vadodara was perused and approved.

3. The Purchase Committee approved vide Resolution No. 4/305 dated 13th February, 2004, the purchase of Carrier Terminals print testing kit and spares from the following parties.  (1) Programmable Carrier Terminals – M/s. ABB, Mumbai and M/s. BPL, Banglore.  (2) Print Testing kit – M/s. BPL, Banglore and M/s. ABB Mumbai (3) Set of spares – M/s. ABB, Mumbai and M/s. BPL Banglore.

4. The Purchase Committee approved vide Resolution No. 5/305 dated 13th February, 2004, the purchase of 420 KV 16.67 MAVR Single phase shunt reactors from M/s. Crompton Greaves Nasik.
